The Quileute tribe commissioned our carving team: "The House of Swasulayas" to carve and install this cedar shelter for their bus stop in their village. We were proud to have such an honorable task. We carved through June and July and installed in August 2011.

There was a tie in the Northern drum competition at Gathering of Nations this year. Midnight Express and Northern Cree had it out with one song each. NoiseCat Art was there to capture it. It was amazing.

The way they drum still gives me chills after all these years. Talk about power!! You can hear the force of the echo reverberate through the entire building...wow!!

Just Song for Song on this Vid......MNX Got it! NC had a good song but failed to match MNX Dynamics and Song Choice. NC brings the energy, but I think a short ans snappy song was not the song to go with.....again just based on this vid....live could have been a totally different thing!

I cant tell who won the second group tho seemed like they were singing like the lives were on the line.first drum was to loud and drained thier voices should of hit it a little more soft .

I had the chance to meet The Northern Cree about 3-4 years ago and I have been listening to their music off and on and I am still likening their music. Well done.
